What we collect

Only what you type into the waitlist form: your email, your home time zone, and — if you choose — month, cities, days, who’s travelling, whether you’ve been to mainland China before, whether you’ve paid for trip planning before, and whether you’d pay $29. We also store which link brought you (for example “reddit”), the page you signed up from, the country code Cloudflare derives from your connection, and the time. We do not store your IP address.

We never ask for passport, travel-document or card details. Please don’t send them.

Why

To email you once when plans open, and to decide — from counts, not individuals — whether this service should exist and which trips to plan first.

Where it lives

In a Cloudflare D1 database tied to this site. Never sold, never shared, never used for advertising. If the service does not go ahead, the list is deleted.

Visitor counts

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics: aggregate, cookieless page counts. No cookies, no tracking across sites.

Your choices

You can delete your entry at any time on Leave the list. You also have the right to access or correct your data; signing up again with the same email updates your answers.
